Terms of Service

1. Accounts and acceptable use

You are responsible for accurate account information, safeguarding your login, and activity performed through your account. Do not attempt to bypass plan limits, access another customer's data, obtain Empire private manufacturing fixtures, interfere with the service, or use the service unlawfully.

Users under 13 may not create self-service accounts. If you are under the age of majority where you live, use Deck Studio only with permission from a parent or guardian. School-managed student access must be authorized through the educator/school workflow with any consent required by the school or applicable law.

2. Your designs and Empire software

You keep ownership of original artwork, measurements, and designs you submit, subject to any rights owned by third parties. You give Empire the limited permission needed to host, process, render, back up, and transmit your submitted content solely to operate Deck Studio and provide requested services. Empire retains ownership of Deck Studio software, interface, algorithms, private mold/cassette data, Market Shape Lab datasets, documentation, and other Empire intellectual property. A paid export does not transfer ownership of the Deck Studio software or Empire private production systems.

3. Generated files

Generated STL, SVG, DXF, JSON, proof, or other files are provided for the customer's authorized design/manufacturing use according to the active plan. Geometry can be affected by inputs, CAM choices, machine calibration, tooling, material behavior, and manufacturing processes. Always verify dimensions and toolpaths before cutting material.

4. Plans and access periods

Features depend on the active account plan. Time-limited access returns to Free Maker when its access period expires. Unless a checkout page expressly states that a purchase renews automatically, access does not renew automatically. Saved designs are not deleted merely because paid access expires, but paid features and exports become unavailable.

5. Service availability and changes

Empire may maintain, update, repair, limit, or discontinue features when necessary for security, manufacturing safety, reliability, or product development. We may suspend accounts involved in abuse, unauthorized access, fraud, or attempts to extract protected Empire data.

6. Warranty and liability

Deck Studio is a design and manufacturing-assistance tool. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service and generated files are provided without a guarantee that a particular machine, material, press, mold, deck, or production result will be safe or successful. Users remain responsible for final engineering judgment and physical verification.

7. Third-party rights

Do not upload or manufacture graphics, logos, shapes, or other content that you do not have the right to use. You are responsible for permissions relating to your submitted content and intended products.
