Verify before machining
Check overall dimensions, wheelbase, hole locations, mold cavity, registration features, material thickness, wheel-well depth, and any other critical dimension before production. Use Verify CAD where available and inspect exported files in your CAM/CAD workflow before cutting.
CAM and machine responsibility
Deck Studio does not determine safe feeds, speeds, spindle RPM, cutter stick-out, stepdown, stepover, workholding, collision clearance, machine travel, dust collection, or operator procedure. Those decisions must be made for the specific machine, tooling, stock, and environment.
Molds and pressing
Pressing creates substantial stored energy and force. Confirm mold strength, platen capacity, alignment, stack thickness, pressure distribution, material condition, and press limitations independently. Do not rely on a software preview as a structural certification of a mold, press, fixture, or deck.
Prototype first
New or materially changed geometry should be validated with inexpensive stock or a prototype before expensive tooling or production quantities. Measure the physical result and account for machine calibration, tool deflection, material springback, adhesive behavior, and finishing operations.
Stop on mismatch
If preview, Verify CAD, exported geometry, CAM simulation, or the physical part disagree, stop and investigate before continuing production. Do not machine a file that appears corrupted, incomplete, unexpectedly scaled, or inconsistent with the intended design.
